Ballistic Fabrics

At last, the general public now has a reliable and knowledgeable source to purchase the same ballistic fabrics that the large bullet resistant vest / body armor manufacturers use. All of our ballistic fabrics are proudly made in the USA. Most, if not all fabric mills only sell in very large quantities, making it impossible for most individuals to make small purchases to experiment or make their own bullet resistant products. These ballistic fabrics can be used to make Bullet Resistant Vests / Body Armor, Bomb Blankets and Vehicle Floor Fragmentation Blankets.
Above you will find a brief description of our ballistic fabrics, for more detailed information and a link to a pricing request please click on the links provided. Kevlar Fabrics come in various roll widths from 50 to 63", depending on the style.
With any new Bullet Resistant Product design we strongly suggest that you have your product tested at one of the following ballistic testing laboratories: H.P.White laboratory,Inc., University Of Dayton Research Institute, or Battelle. For military applications you can contact Aberdeen Proving Grounds or Redstone Arsenal.
Kevlar® 129 Style 726
Tough yarns that are better suited for ballistic protection and are used both in soft body armor applications such as personal protection ballistic vests, K9 vests and as ballistic reinforcements for a variety of hard armor applications, such as spall liners behind steel armor plate for armored vehicle applications, ballistic helmets, ballistic blankets and other such applications. Please note: When manufacturing a bullet resistant product this fabric must be used in multiple layers or plies and not a single layer. The number of layers or plies depends on the weapons or rounds you are trying to stop. This can be anywhere from 10 to 20 or more layers / plies. For liability reason we cannot recommend any design specifications. Kevlar fabric is not suitable to stop rifle rounds.
