FLEX-PRO Armor panels are a laminated composite armor fabricated from a vulcanized urethane 3000 denier aramid composite. FLEX-PRO Armor panels are semi-rigid, and have excellent multi-hit capabilities and will not bunch up or fall down during ballistic incidents or severe vehicle use.

Further, FLEX-PRO Armor can be cold bonded to the vehicle surface or mechanically attached. Because FLEX-PRO Armor is based on aramid fibers there is no degradation due to vehicle temperature extremes. FLEX-PRO Armor can be easily fit into tight spaces in one piece, thereby eliminating the problems with butt joints, overlaps and the potential of secondary projectiles from the fasteners used to hold the panels in place. At NIJ standard 0108.01 level IIIA configuration of this material has an aerial density of 1.7 pounds per square foot. This provides a significant reduction in weight from more commonly used high hard steel at 6.4 lbs per sq.ft. or aluminum alloy at 3.6 lbs per sq.ft.

Our FLEX-PRO Armor panels panels were tested behind .040 aluminum panels, go to next higher level of protection for stand alone applications.
